Attention Local Wedding Businesses

P178

I've got 11 bridal shows on the books so far for late 2011 through 2012. The average investment for a bridal show is typically $400. *Great investment by the way. If you participated in all these shows you would spend $4400.00 just in booth fees. A full page ad in Red Bow is $700 for the year! $700! Now don't get me wrong, I believe you must participate in at least 2 shows a year. If you are in the wedding industry, a bridal show is THE best way to get your business in front of brides. The valuable face to face time for 4-5 hours is crucial to your business. Where else can you be in a room of 200 brides looking for exactly what you offer? No where but a bridal show. I repeat, NO WHERE BUT A BRIDAL SHOW. Also, important is print/online advertising! Red Bow offers both! Recent studies show that more than 80% of brides look for services online and through wedding publications. Odds are better yet, if you advertise in a local publication! The more a bride sees your business the more likely you will come to mind when she needs your services. It typically takes 8 times of getting your service in front of brides before she remembers you! *Did I mention that I've got 11 bridal shows on the books?? What happens when you don't advertise?.....NOTHING...Rick Brewer Anyway back to my original thought, bridal show participation. Place an ad with Red Bow (ask anyone how much I love my job) and Red Bow will get you in front of brides, local brides that are planning their weddings! Save $$ by participating in 2 yearly bridal shows and let Red Bow participate in the other 9 shows on your behalf! 2 shows plus 1 ad = apprx $1500 for a years worth of advertising. It will cost you more by not utilizing these 2 tools! Yes, I said more. Take for instance you don't advertise with Red Bow or reserve a booth in the next Get Married Modesto Bridal show... Here's what will happen: 1. You will miss out on having nearly 500 brides see or learn about your business. That's a correct number of brides that have seen my current advertisers so far in 2011. It's only April. Now, statistically you book 1 out of 10 weddings (that's if you play by statistics, I don't. You can do much better I believe, but it is up to you). So statistically, you should have quite a busy year with even just 1 out of 10! You have to be actively involved in your marketing plan! You cannot place an ad and sit by your phone! Although I do have a story about that actually taking place with a current venue of mine :) the 1st day Red Bow came out, they got a call! They advertised in Red Bow, and a bride that attended Get Married Modesto on Jan 9, called them! They were not in the show....but Red Bow was!! Ask Nancy from the Whitmore Mansion if you don't believe me. Any how that's not usually the norm, you must take an active role in your plan for it to be a success. Love to work with you!
